Welcome to the blog for the Ireland schools in the Living Schools Lab Project, Phase 1.

The two-year Living Schools Lab project, funded by the European Commission, aims to create a network of primary and post-primary schools that showcase and share best practice to demonstrate ways to embed ICT in teaching and learning across the whole school.

This blog will be an additional aid and space for the Phase 1 schools in Ireland.  The primary school cluster consists of Scoil na gCeithre Máistrí, Athlone, St. Corban’s Boys National School, Tuam and St. Patrick’s Primary School, Naas.  The post-primary cluster comprises of Coláiste Bríde, Dublin, De La Salle College, Dundalk and St. Fintan’s High School, Dublin.

September 2014 update: Although the Living Schools Lab is undergoing change our blog continues and we welcome a new member school, Mary, Mother of Hope SNS to our Hub.

While the collaborative work of the project will be undertaken in the Community of Practice at http://lsl.eun.org each school has its own blog page here to help record its progress on its in-school development and to help chart its action research reflections on their inter-school collaboration work.  The blog has been created to aid PDST ICT in Education (formerly NCTE) in its support of the project schools in Ireland.  See the Blog page for articles, news items and links to useful resources for teaching and learning.
